A proud Kilkenny man, based in Dublin, Ireland, this blog has come about from a lifelong fascination with sport. I’ve always been a lover of sports, with a heavy emphasis on watching rather than playing. I find that I’m vastly superior at the former which, I’m well aware, is hardly an achievement.

So, I thought given the fact that I spend so much time marvelling at the achievements of sportsmen and women the world over that I’d put pen to paper to discuss their successes, failures and everything in between.

In my opinion, sport is the ultimate drama, and I’ve set up this blog with a view to getting anyone reading, from the casual fan to the armchair sports encyclopaedia. I enjoy debate and discourse, and I’m hoping that the articles up here will get people thinking and hopefully offer an alternative view.
